This is where a lot of people go
wrong. I‘ve
even screwed this up after several fastings or different
cleanses. So please listen and learn!
There is an Old Chinese saying that says “Any fool can fast but it
takes a wise man to break it.“
One of the most important things
that I
don‘t see stressed enough is the importance of what you put into your
body after
a fast or cleanse.
Why
is this so important?
After a fast or cleanse the body is stripped down of plaques decay and
fecal matter that has weakened internal tissues all throughout the body.
The body
becomes like a sponge after a fast or cleanse and absorbs and
rebuilds internal and external tissues with the foods that you put into
it.
This is why it is CRITICAL that you eat very clean and nourishing
foods directly after your fast. If you start pigging out on
Twinkie Cakes, Donuts, Pizzas, Steaks, or any other Heavy foods then
you will destroy every thing you have just done and could actually do
more harm than good.
For every day that you have fasted you need to eat as clean as possible
for at least the same amount of days after the fast. For example,
if you fasted or cleansed for 3 days then you need to plan to eat very
clean for at least the next three days before you even think of eating
junk foods.
This will be easier on your body and allow the tissues to
properly repair and build back stronger.
Doing
Fasts or
cleanses is the fastest way to jump start your health in
the right direction. But before you do these things let me
stress
something that I wish I would have done different before I started
cleaning out my body.
You see, cleaning the body out helps
tremendously, but if you don‘t know
what to do to keep it growing stronger and healthier then you will end
up running in circles like I did for years.
By this I mean, you clean out your body but then you go back to
old patterns and end up tossing the junk right back in and there you go
round and round.
Now you don‘t have to eat 100% perfect all the time but if you become aware
of the things that the ancient masters new about diet and health
then you will go a lot farther and a lot faster improving your health.
Just by simply becoming aware, you will gradually start applying these
things to your daily life and before you know it you will be so healthy
and clean that the taste of junk foods won‘t even appeal to you
anymore. You‘ll actually discover that unhealthy foods you
use to eat begin to taste quite repulsive.
The bottom line is this, Whether you learn the health and
diet secrets of the ancient masters or discover some different things
on your own, the most important thing is to find ways to be healthy in
the long run.
I‘m sure you have several years left ahead of you on this planet and
you will have to eat along the way, so it is important to
know how, when,
where, and why to eat certain things at certain times because
this will
carry you through the long haul with superior health and strength.
So
ask yourself, why would you want to do all this?
You do this
because deep inside you want to love yourself and take care of
yourself. Your mind and attitude becomes much more happy and
clear. This allows you to be more loving and more
helpful to the ones around you.
Or Heck, you may just want to feel good, feel happy, and look damn good
in a bathing suit on the beach or at the lake during summer events:)
Either way I hope I have brought some awareness to you and I hope that
you choose to make some changes that will allow you to do more and
become more. We have really forgotten how great that we truly
are. You deserve the best things in the world even the
best health and don‘t ever let anyone tell you different.
